  • Laura Maddock

    on Staff missionary

Laura serves in campus ministry in Berlin, Germany.  Laura and her team are trusting the Lord to make the good news known among the thousand of students from around the world who study in Berlin, and to help equip students to follow and proclaim Christ.

Growing up in Vincennes, Laura decided to follow Jesus as a child, and is grateful for the many ways that her family as well as her church family at the First Church of God in Vincennes brought her up in the faith.  As a student at Butler University, in addition to finding great friendship and a love for Butler basketball, Laura also grew to understand more deeply her need for Jesus and the impact of his death and resurrection on her life.  God used campus missionaries to challenge and encourage her in her faith, and she decided to trust God in His call to missions in her own life through campus ministry.

During her two years interning with Cru on campuses in Berlin, followed by three years serving international students in New York City, God has continued to reveal both the great opportunity to reach students from all nations with the gospel.  In 2017, she was thrilled to return to Berlin to continue serving there.

Laura loves good books, a substantial amount of chocolate, and especially time with her nephew (they're FaceTime pros).
